Nightlife Assistance

CitySafe has a team of advanced first aiders and welfare support volunteers who give their time to help the vulnerable and those in need, almost every weekend and student night in Durham City Centres nightlife.

Our teams of volunteers work together with licensed premises in Durham City, as well as working closely with door supervisors, the Police, and the Ambulance Service to help take some of the strain off the emergency services. 

We do this by treating those with minor injuries at scene, providing a rapid response to incidents in the immediate area of Durham City Centre prior to the arrival of an ambulance, and providing medical assistance to licensed premises thus preventing unnecessary ambulance callouts. We also assist by providing vital welfare assistance and welfare checks to those in need.
